About the Portwest FFP1 Valved Respirator
The Portwest FFP1 Valved Respirator is designed to provide comfortable protection against dusts, mists, fibres, and low hazard airborne particles. Ideal for a variety of workplace applications, it helps protect the wearer from solid, oil based, and water based aerosols while maintaining comfort throughout the working day.
Its cup shaped design creates a secure fit and comfortable breathing space, while the integrated high performance exhalation valve helps reduce heat, humidity, and breathing resistance inside the mask. This makes the respirator particularly suitable for use in warm environments or during physically demanding tasks where wearer comfort is important.
An adjustable nose clip allows the mask to be fitted more precisely to the face, helping reduce spectacle fogging and improving overall performance. Additional foam padding around the nose bridge enhances comfort during prolonged wear. The respirator also features ultrasonically welded head straps, providing a secure fit without the discomfort sometimes associated with stapled attachments.

How much is delivery?
We charge a flat rate shipping fee for most orders of £8.95. Larger orders, especially those requiring palletisation may be subject to further charges.

When will I receive my order?
That depends on the type of product and/or service you have bought:
Plain (undecorated) items
- Order by 2pm today for delivery on .
- These are generally available to dispatch within 24-72 hours after you have confirmed your order. We send with DPD's next day service.
Decorated Garments
- Order by 2pm and Confirm your order by 4:30pm for delivery on .
- We get them about 24-72 hours after your order.
- Embroidery and Print take 2-6 days to be dispatched on a Next Day Delivery basis with DPD.
- Collection orders are usually ready for collection on the day the order reaches dispatch. We'll call you when your order is ready.
Backordered/Replaced items
- This is difficult to predict - XAMAX® customer service or your account manager will be in touch once your order is processing. -
What is the returns policy?
Returns are handled by our Customer Services department and policy depends on whether the product is decorated or not.

How should I pay?
This website accepts Visa, Mastercard and Paypal for immediate payments and Bank Transfer (AKA: BACs) is available. Choosing Bank transfer may cause a slight delay (max 1 day) in your order whilst we confirm receipt.
Customers with an approved credit account can choose to pay on invoice which is a fast and convenient payment method for our regular customers. Choosing this option without a pre-existing credit account may significantly delay the order process.
