This happened in a fraction of a second. The backing thread snagged beneath the garment and the needle stretched the fabric up, where it got caught up and ripped. This was on a garment we have embroidered a thousand times.

The customer doesn't know this happened - we replaced the garment and completed their order. Now imagine if that had been a £100 customer supplied garment... Not only would there be a hole in their jumper, but there would be a hole in their order - and a massive hole in our reputation.

Without full control of the garment, we’re not just customising clothing - we’re gambling your result.
