Do you need to invest in safety workwear?  If so, let Xamax help you out.

There are a number of different professions where you are required to invest in safety workwear and if you work in one of them we’re sure our hints and tips will be useful.

Safety footwear

Protecting your feet is extremely important in many different working environments.  If you are going to be walking around building sites where there will bits of wood and lose nails left all over the floor then you need to ensure your feet are protected to prevent you from having an accident.   You can choose to invest in a pair of Rigger boots or safety boots to ensure your feet are protected at all times.

Hard Hats

If you work on a building site, or anywhere where items can fall onto your head then you should always invest in a good hard hat as they can make a massive difference to your safety and can prevent serious accidents occurring when they don’t need to.

Eye Protection

If you work with chemicals or in a dusty environment we would always recommend that you invest in some good eye protection.  The eyes, as you would expect, are extremely delicate and if they aren’t protected properly you can risk losing your vision.

Dust mask

Again, as mentioned above, if you work in a dusty environment you should not only invest in good eye protection but you should invest in a dust mask to prevent getting dust in your mouth, on your chest and in some serious cases, into your lungs.

Ear defenders

Working in a loud environment, such as a factory, for long periods of time can cause long term damage to your hearing.  If you would prefer not to go deaf before you get old you should invest in some ear defenders to protect your hearing as much as possible.
